Ms. Jensen practices exclusively in the area of Social Security Disability law. She is involved in all aspects of the process, including filing initial applications for disability, filing appeals within the administrative social security process, and furthermore, filing appeals before the district federal court or Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to her social security practice, Ms. Jensen engaged in general civil litigation ranging from employment and discrimination cases to commercial litigation and family law matters. She has represented clients in unemployment hearings, administrative proceedings, state and federal jury trials, mediations and appeals and arguments before the Supreme Court of Iowa and the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
She is the co-author of "What, Me? Prejudiced? Absolutely Not!" an article published in "Trial" magazine in December 2000 that addressed jury selection in discrimination cases. During law school, Ms. Jensen was a member of Drake Law Review and served as the Associate Editor. She has served as a board member and officer of the Iowa Bar Review School and as a member of professional organizations including the American Bar Association and the American Association of Justice. She is a current member of the Iowa Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.
